P. K. R. Jain (PG) College of Education is named after our revered Guru Pujya Shri Kanshi Ram Ji Maharaj who was a great soul of 19th and 20th century of India. He spearheaded the social cause to uplift the society from the shackles of ignorant orthodoxy.

Pujya Ji was the torch bearer who emphasized that education is the enlightenment of one’s soul. Pujya Ji travelled all over India and propagated the principles of Lord Mahavira, giving the slogan -

"Kam Khao, Gam Khao, Nam Jao."

His earnest belief was that practice of this principle is the essence of life. He propagated education for all and encouraged Girls Education to develop and disseminate new knowledge among the students who are pursuing their careers in education & become future managers of our children.

With the benign blessing of Pujyaji, P.K.R. Jain Managing Committee decided to start P. K. R. Jain College of Education in the year 2006 with an intake of 100 seats in B.Ed. Course. Thereafter seats were enhanced in B.Ed. and M.Ed. Course was also started. At present college is running M.Ed. and B.Ed. course with an intake of 25 and 200 respectively.

The Society has earmarked 3.5 acres of land for the college. It is worth mentioning here that P. K. R. Jain Institute of Technology is the nomenclature under which P K R Jain (PG) College of Education is being nurtured to bloom. The college has its separate building, entry gate and boundary wall.
